Jennifer’s focus on insurance as a career started early, when she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University in 1993.  Recruited out of college by Sedgwick James of Florida, Jennifer was placed in their Maitland, Florida office where she began learning both traditional insurance programs and alternative risk transfer programs for large property management, construction and healthcare risks.

After spending almost three years at Sedwick James, Jennifer accepted a more challenging position at Marsh & McLennan’s corporate office in New York City.  In Marsh’s Risk Management division, she acquired a wealth of knowledge while working on Fortune 500 accounts. Over the next three years, Jennifer became proficient in loss trending and developing across clients’ business area units, retro calculations and loss portfolio transfer negotiations in this division, which would prove to be useful for many years to come.

After becoming engaged, her and her now-husband, Brad, were anxious to get home to the South to lay down roots so they settled on his hometown of Montgomery. Moving from New York City to Montgomery, AL proved to be a good decision as Jennifer has been with Harmon Dennis Bradshaw ever since and became a shareholder in 2004.  Jennifer earned the coveted Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2005 and is proud to now serve as an officer of Harmon Dennis Bradshaw.

Jennifer and her husband, Brad, have one daughter, Isabella, and three rescue dogs who bring them much joy.  

In Jennifer’s spare time, she serves as the Juvenile Arthritis Chair representing the States of Alabama & Mississippi for the Arthritis Foundation, which is a cause that is near & dear to Jennifer’s heart since her daughter was diagnosed with the disease at the age of three.  Jennifer is also the facilitator for the Arthritis Foundation’s National Middle School Connect Group. 

Jennifer also serves as the Chair of Trustees at Century Church, where she’s been serving on the leadership team since 2017.
