Jarrod attended Jefferson State with a focus in business & communications while playing basketball there. Prior to joining HDB in 2024, Jarrod spent 10 years in the Fintech industry and two years at another insurance agency where he honed his skills at risk management and building strong relationships with his clients. Building trust and adding value to his clients by proactively seeking solutions rather than just being reactive to a problem is how Jarrod likes to set himself apart from other P&C Risk Advisors.
One of Jarrod’s areas of focus is risk management and insurance placement for the automotive industry, including auto part manufacturers and dealerships. Jarrod’s actively involved with the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association, the Alabama Germany Partnership as well as the Alabama Independent Automotive Dealers Association. Other areas of focus include aviation and transportation parts manufacturing as well as machine tooling and health and fitness clubs.
Jarrod and his wife Sarah have three daughters: Isabella, Julianna and Abigail. In his spare time, Jarrod enjoys coaching his daughter’s soccer team, working out and traveling with his family. He is a U.S. Soccer Association licensed coach and an active member of his church where he and his wife are part of the small groups’ leadership team.
