John spent ten years of his childhood in England, as the son of an Air Force pilot. John and his wife, Heidi, married in 1996. They currently live in Auburn, AL with their three children – Sarah, Matt and Luke. John and his family attend the Church of the Highlands Auburn campus.
John graduated high school from a Department of Defense school in England. John obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Huntington College in 1994. He earned his Life, Health, Property & Casualty, Series 6 & 63 licenses in 1996 – prior to joining Jackson Thornton’s business valuation group in 1998. In 2001, John went to work for New England Financial where he gained extensive knowledge of individual and group insurance benefits. In 2005, he began a new opportunity with Synovus Financial. John developed and managed the insurance department for Sterling Bank (a Synovus affiliate) providing individual and group benefits to their corporate customers.
Harmon Dennis Bradshaw, Inc. tapped John to head the Benefits Department where he and his team provide a wide array of individual and company benefits to their clients. John became a shareholder in 2011; and shortly after, he achieved the GBDS designation from the Hartford School of Insurance.
