Wayne is a lifelong resident of Montgomery. He and his wife, Nichole, have one son Patrick and two labs Bella and Dixie. Wayne and Nichole joined Centerpoint Fellowship in Prattville in 2010 and have both enjoyed serving at several of its campuses throughout the River Region.
After studying Business Administration at Auburn, Wayne returned to Montgomery in 2003 to work in the family business, a regional Worker’s Compensation Brokerage Firm, where he acquired an in-depth knowledge of workers compensation coverage and claims. In 2009 Wayne branched out by taking a position as a Risk Advisor/Producer at another agency where he specialized in trucking and transportation. In 2012 he had another opportunity in the trucking and transportation insurance space and spent an additional five years as a Risk Advisor/Producer in this niche until 2017, when a different calling came that landed him at HDB as a Commercial Lines Account Manager to solely focus on the service aspect of insurance. He has since expanded his insurance proficiency into additional industries such as Sawmills, Mental Health Organizations, and Schools to name a few. He has also served on HDB’s Procedure committee encouraging Best Practices to provide a more polished and steadier workflow.
Wayne spends his weekends doing mostly family activities but also tries to find time to enjoy one of his many hobbies. He will tell you they change week to week, but most notably, he is a musician playing guitar, drums, bass and piano and plays in the Praise Band at church. He also enjoys playing golf, hunting, all types of trivia, board games or just sitting on the back porch in front of a fire with his dogs watching Auburn football and basketball.
